Great Hearts Academies launched Headmaster College, a new professional development residency program designed to train and inspire its next generation of academy leaders.

The collaborative, year-long program will help the organization identify headmaster candidates and position them for success in this pivotal role.

Participants will engage in integrative projects, executive coaching and relevant fieldwork while learning about the Great Hearts model and curriculum.

Throughout the year, enrollees will be compensated with full salary and benefits, and upon successful completion, positioned in school leadership roles.

“The Great Hearts Headmaster College is a focused approach to training and developing the most important role in our academies,” said Christine Jones, Great Hearts Interim CEO. “As we strive to meet the growing demand for Great Hearts schools in Arizona, Texas and beyond, we are committed to ensuring each of our academies has a visionary, passionate and energetic leader who is fully prepared to serve as headmaster.” She continued, “I’m thrilled to have our co-founder, Dr. Daniel Scoggin, leading this effort, connecting our future leaders to the original vision of Great Hearts.”
