Local middle and high school students from the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Ahwatukee Class of 2016 will reveal seven new start-up businesses to the public, at the YEA! Trade Show on Saturday, April 30th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, at Arizona Mills Mall 5000 S. Arizona Mills Cir., Tempe, AZ 85282.
The presentation is a culmination of nine months of hard work, resulting in the graduates owning and operating their own businesses.
At YEA!, students are taught by local entrepreneurs and are introduced to guest lecturers, successful entrepreneurs and business mentors. They brainstorm ideas, write business plans and actually launch their own company or social movement.
YEA! runs during the academic year from August to May , with classes meeting every Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The program is now currently accepting applications for next year’s YEA! Class of 2017.
