Wells Fargo is honoring Arizona’s Teacher of the Year on its ATMs across the state. For the month of August, most of Wells Fargo’s 557 ATMs in Arizona will feature a screen congratulating 2016 Teacher of the Year Christine Porter Marsh.

Wells Fargo’s ATM customers will see a picture of Marsh and some details about her teaching achievements.

“At Wells Fargo, we know that students, families and communities can only thrive when they have access to talented, passionate teachers, and we believe it’s important to celebrate those teachers,” said Pam Conboy, lead regional president for Wells Fargo in Arizona. “We’re honored to congratulate Ms. Marsh and to thank all of our teachers for their service. Our entire community benefits from their work, and we want to show our appreciation by honoring one of Arizona’s best.”

Marsh teaches English at Chaparral High School in the Scottsdale Unified School District. She is a graduate of Chaparral High School and has been an educator for 24 years.

Marsh earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. She says that teaching teenagers is one of the most amazing and fulfilling jobs because they are insightful, funny and socially conscious. “The future of our country is in good hands,” says Marsh.
