Bairdan international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm, announced today that it has added Karen Stepanski, CFP®, ADPA®, as Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor in its Scottsdale, Ariz., wealth management office. Stepanski brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Baird.
 
Stepanski began her career in the financial services industry in 1987 with Lawson Financial Corporation. She then moved to the former brokerage firm A.G. Edwards before it was acquired by Wells Fargo, where she joins from now. Stepanski holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Arizona State University. She has been actively involved in her community for more than 25 years, and currently resides in Scottsdale.
 
Baird’s wealth management business encompasses more than 800 financial advisors serving clients through more than 80 offices in 26 states, and has client assets of more than $100 billion. Last year, Baird acquired the former McAdams Wright Ragen, Inc. (MWR), an investment firm headquartered in Seattle. As a result, more than 80 financial advisors from six offices in Washington state (Anacortes, Bellevue, Mount Vernon, Seattle, Spokane and Yakima) and one office in Portland, Ore., joined Baird.
