Gila River Gaming Enterprises, Inc., operator of the three Gila River Casinos Phoenix-area locations – Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte and Vee Quiva – announces today the number of Arizona nonprofit organizations that were selected to receive funding from the unclaimed gaming jackpots from 2017.
Fifty-four Arizona nonprofit organizations were selected to receive the unclaimed gaming jackpots.
“Gila River Hotels & Casinos firmly believes in giving back to the community and as a corporate entity, we are always seeking ways to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that make a difference in people’s lives,” said Kenneth Manuel, CEO of Gila River Gaming Enterprises, Inc.
Gila River Hotels & Casinos distributes the combined total of its unclaimed jackpots from the most recent fiscal year to Arizona nonprofit organizations.
Distribution of funds from forfeited jackpots will be handled by the corporate finance department of Gila River Hotels & Casinos in accordance with standard operating procedure. These funds become available on an intermittent basis and amounts and distribution times vary. All selected nonprofits will be notified via email starting Monday, January 22, 2018.
Gila River Hotels & Casinos does not disclose the amount of money that is distributed.
