She oversees more than 600 employees and five successful brands across three states, and she’ll serve as the keynote speaker at next month’s Association for Corporate Growth-Arizona Chapter Breakfast.

Upward Projects’ Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Lauren Bailey will take the stage at the special event slated for 7:00 a.m. through 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, where she’ll share insight about her company’s recent growth and expansion including private equity funding.

Known throughout Arizona, Colorado and much of the Southwest, Bailey and Upward Projects carved out a name for themselves in the regional hospitality industry by establishing innovative, inspired restaurants and eateries in historically relevant buildings, and opening them in areas with strong community connections.

“Lauren’s recent success with Upward Projects is a prime example of how small businesses can utilize private equity funding to get ahead in the modern marketplace,” said Mike Smiggen, President of ACG Arizona and Senior Vice President of Alliance Bank of Arizona. “She’s a dynamic, impactful speaker, and we’re looking forward to hearing her company’s story and plans for the future.”

Tickets are $59 for ACG members if registered by Feb. 9 and $69 for ACG members after Feb. 9; and $79 for non-ACG members if registered by Feb. 9 and $89 for non- ACG members after Feb. 9.
