The Greater Phoenix Chamber has announced its legislative priorities for the Second Regular Session of Arizona’s 57th Legislature. This year, the Chamber is focused on championing policies that foster a thriving business climate and ensure Arizona remains a top destination for economic growth and investment.

“Our focus this session is to champion forward-thinking policies that elevate Arizona as a leader in innovation and investment, empowering businesses to thrive and our communities to prosper,” said Todd Sanders, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber. 

As the unified voice for businesses at each level of government, the Chamber’s public affairs team advocates pro-business and pro-growth policies on behalf of its members.  

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s 2026 legislative agenda reflects the priorities of our members—first and foremost, we want to ensure that businesses have the tools they need to navigate through the current changes in government and economic challenges,” said Mike Huckins, senior vice president of public affairs and IT operations for the Chamber. 

2026 Top Legislative Priorities:

  • Promoting Business-Friendly Regulatory Policies:
    The Chamber is committed to advocating for regulatory reforms that remove unnecessary barriers and mandates, making it easier for businesses to operate, innovate, and grow. By supporting policies that streamline regulations, the Chamber aims to create a more favorable environment for both new and established businesses across the state. 
  • Fiscally Responsible and Balanced Investments:
    Ensuring that Arizona’s budget supports sustainable growth is a top priority. The Chamber will advocate for balanced investments in critical infrastructure—such as public safety, transportation, and economic development projects—while maintaining fiscal responsibility. These investments are designed to strengthen the region’s foundation and support long-term prosperity for businesses and residents alike. 

·  Certainty for Arizona’s Water & Energy Future:
Advocating for clear, consistent regulatory frameworks and public-private partnerships to accelerate infrastructure upgrades and ensure Arizona’s energy and water systems can meet the demands of a growing economy.
