Arizona-based healthcare provider Bayless Healthcare Group has expanded its intake capacity with the hiring of three physicians for its primary and pediatric care facilities.

Bayless’ integrated primary care offers a shared emphasis on mental and physical health to its patients. With the expansion, Bayless has added a full-time psychiatry medical director, wellness supervisor and, starting in January, will bring a pediatrics and primary care medical director.

Dr. Andrea Raby, DO, has joined Bayless Primary Care as its psychiatry medical director providing direct services and administrative leadership to all psychiatric providers at Bayless Healthcare. Raby completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and chemistry at Arizona State University. She attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency at Maricopa Integrated Health/County Hospital. For more than 10 years, she has provided forensic evaluations for the acutely ill as well as court testimonies for those on court order evaluations. She is also a diplomat for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry.  Raby brings her expertise to Bayless Healthcare Group as part of a multidisciplinary, integrated care team treating patients and creating a new paradigm for outpatient psychiatric care.

Dr. Sophia Murphy, DBH, LPC, has joined as a wellness supervisor based at Bayless Pediatrics. In almost 10 years of direct service, Murphy has worked with adults, adolescents and children as individuals, couples and groups. Featured throughout her experiences has been an emphasis on the value of multicultural competency and a deep exploration of the relationship between identity and health. In earning her Doctor of Behavioral Health degree from Arizona State University, she received advanced training in collaborative care and population-based health management. Her primary focus includes the relationship between health, nutrition, physical activity and depression. She works closely with medical practitioners to provide behavioral health services tailored to the unique needs of patients living with chronic illness.

Dr. Kathleen Brite, MD, will start Jan. 3, 2017, as a pediatrics and primary care medical director. She will provide direct services at Bayless Pediatrics and Bayless Primary Care as well administrative leadership for both clinical departments. Brite attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center where she was the chief resident. She has been practicing medicine since 2005. Brite enjoys all aspects of family medicine; however, she has a special interest in women’s health and reproductive medicine, having special training in these areas. She is currently the Director of Family Medicine Clerkship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
