The Sanders Trust, one of the nation’s leading healthcare real estate investment and development companies, announced the completion of Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital – Gilbert located in Gilbert, Arizona.

The Sanders Trust was selected as the owner and developer of the $33,000,000, two-story, 56,000 square foot hospital that features 40-beds in all private rooms. The facility includes multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums with the latest therapeutic technologies, and a therapeutic courtyard with amenities designed to promote patient ambulation and activity. 

The project is a joint venture between Dignity Health and Lifepoint Health, both of which are multi-facility healthcare service providers. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital will focus on acute rehabilitation and recovery for patients who suffer from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, amputations, and other injuries or disorders.

The Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital – Gilbert is located at 1850 South Santan Village Parkway in Gilbert, Arizona, the southeast portion of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Sanders Trust worked with leading architectural firm Earl Swensson Architects, headquartered in Nashville, TN. JE Dunn was the general contractor for the project, headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
