Physician Group of Arizona, Inc., an organization comprised of primary and specialty care physicians, has announced the addition of The Mollen Clinic in Scottsdale. Dr. Art Mollen, president and founder of The Mollen Clinic and well-known osteopathic family medicine physician, is accompanied by physician assistant Monika Sajecki and will welcome Drs. Martin Mollen and Mel Bottner to the team.

Dr. Mollen is a nationally-recognized health and fitness expert; his medical practice emphasizes the benefits of preventive medicine. With 45 years of experience, Dr. Mollen is an advocate of exercise and diet as the primary treatment for many diseases, including hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol, arthritis and depression.

In 2007, Dr. Mollen was also recommended for Surgeon General of the United States of America. He also received Arizona Physician of the Year in 2014 by the Arizona Osteopathic Association.

A marathon runner and triathlete, Dr. Mollen is founder of the 3TV Phoenix 10K & Half Marathon, receiving the Lifetime Running Achievement Award in 2015.

Dr. Mollen has authored five best-selling books devoted to nutrition and fitness. They include: Run for Your Life, The Mollen Method, Dr. Mollen’s Anti-Aging Diet, Dr. Mollen’s Anti-Aging Program, and Healthonomics – How to Balance Your Physical, Emotional and Financial Checkbook.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dr. Mollen received his bachelor’s degree from Temple University, along with his D.O. degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has practiced in Phoenix for more than 45 years.
