Irgens has completed the development of Mountain Ranch Medical Commons, a new Banner Health Center in Goodyear.
The state-of-the-art, 13,000 SF Class A medical office facility is just north of Estrella Parkway at Cotton Lane in Estrella, a mixed-use, master-planned community. Banner will provide primary care medical services at the facility along with complimentary specialty care.
“Mountain Ranch Medical Commons is the most recent third-party medical office building project in the Phoenix metro area,” said Jason Anzalone, vice president for Irgens. “As we continue to expand our healthcare real estate development portfolio in the Valley, we are proud to be a part of bringing top-tier medical care to area residents.”
As Estrella grew, the community developer recognized a strategic need to provide healthcare services to the growing residential population. Irgens researched the local healthcare market to determine both the immediate and future needs of the community by consulting directly with Banner to strategize and determine the best operational model that would benefit Estrella residents. Irgens then secured the first third-party, ground-up lease in more than five years with Banner Health, a leading health system in greater Phoenix.
The architect for Mountain Ranch Medical Commons was 33 North. The single-story structure offers efficient, custom-designed medical space, upscale amenities and a sustainable design that conforms to standards of the Green Building Initiative.
