The Valley’s newest entertainment hub is seeking 150 employees in advance of opening in February. Mavrix, located at the Pavilions at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, is hiring staff to work in the restaurant and bar, bowling alley, laser tag arena and arcade. The venue also is hiring for a limited number of management positions.
Several hiring events are scheduled to take place at Octane Raceway, which will give candidates an opportunity to interview and learn more about the new venue next door. The event dates are:
• Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 9 am – 1 pm
• Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 12 pm – 7 pm
• Thursday, Jan. 23 from 9 am – 1 pm
• Friday, Jan. 24 from 12 pm – 7 pm

The entertainment destination features 22 bowling lanes, 85 arcade games, a state-of-the-art laser tag arena, billiards tables, dozens of 4K televisions, 1,500 square feet of meeting and event space, and a 5,000 square-foot restaurant and bar featuring a chef-curated menu, craft beers and custom cocktails.
In addition, Mavrix and Octane Raceway, located next door, will share access to an outdoor games patio connecting the two sites. Guests will be able to flow between the venues and use arcade game cards at both Mavrix and Octane Raceway.
Mavrix will be open 10 a.m. to midnight Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 10 a.m to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Learn more or subscribe to the newsletter at mavrix.com.
