CellTrust Corporation, has announced that K Royal, the company’s vice president, assistant general counsel and privacy officer, is this year’s recipient of The Association of Corporate Counsel’s (ACC) Robert I. Townsend, Jr. Member of the Year Award.

One of the highest honors the ACC can bestow, Ms. Royal was selected from among over 40,000 fellow members around the globe for her exceptional contributions and dedication to the association. Award recipients this year have pioneered innovative practices and play an integral role in the ACC’s advancement as the premier global organization for in-house counsel.

Ms. Royal has contributed to a vast number of ACC member service areas, having held various leadership positions in chapters and committees, served on the ACC Docket Editorial Advisory Board, authored numerous articles for ACC, and is one of the founding members of ACC’s newest global initiative supporting women in-house counsel which was announced today at the ACC Annual Meeting in Boston.

ACC President and CEO Veta T. Richardson will present the award to K Royal on Tuesday, October 20, during the General Luncheon at the ACC Annual Meeting in Boston.
