Roshka DeWulf & Patten, a Phoenix-based business law firm specializing in litigation and regulatory issues, announced that Member John DeWulf has been honored by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services as a 2013 Top Pro Bono Attorney in Arizona.
DeWulf, a business litigator with more than 30 years experience, has been working with the Juvenile Court of Maricopa County on a pro bono basis to obtain guardianships to protect local children.
DeWulf’s assistant, Verna Colwell, also contributed a significant amount of time and effort to these undertakings, helping to ensure children have a safe and secure home life.
“This recognition is a great honor for our entire team,” said DeWulf. “All of our attorneys have a strong commitment to bettering the community, especially when it comes to the welfare of children.”
The Foundation instituted this award in 2001 to recognize attorneys who have tirelessly given their time and expertise to assist Arizonans who would otherwise not have any legal resources.
