After receiving a record number of nominations, 50 companies have risen from the adversity of the past couple years and earned the right to call themselves Arizona’s Most Admired Companies of 2022. The Most Admired Companies of 2022 includes Gila River Resorts & Casinos.

Arizona’s Most Admired Companies of 2022 will be celebrated at an awards dinner and ceremony from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Chateau Luxe, at 1175 E. Lone Cactus Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85024.

What it does: Gaming and hospitality enterprise.

Admirable trait: Gila River Resorts & Casinos is a company that puts giving back to the community and offering phenomenal experiences for its guests at the forefront of everything it does. The success of Gila River Resorts & Casinos helps fund infrastructure improvements, housing development, emergency first responder services, education, health and wellness programs and social services for nearly 23,000 members of Gila River Indian Community (GRIC).

DEI efforts: To create a more diverse and equitable work environment, Gila River Resorts & Casinos has gone to great lengths to focus on recognizing and teaching women how to grow into leadership roles. In August of 2022, Gila River hosted an internal Glow, Grow, Game Women’s Leadership Conference. Gila River has also partnered with Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to “achieve economic independence” by offering professional support, attire, and development tools.
