Workplace culture: In the summer of 2021, U-Haul opened the Shoen Family Conference and Fitness Center, a 54,208-square-foot, multi-million dollar facility in Phoenix, providing team members free access to daily workouts (cardio, machine and free weight areas); basketball; classes like yoga, boxing, spin, dance, HIIT and pilates with professional instructors; on-site medical and dental services; and the use of locker rooms with showers and towel service.
Community impact: During Hunger Action Month in 2022, U-Haul hosted a donation drive at multiple company locations and packed 1,728 emergency food boxes at the St. Mary’s warehouse, while donating $15,000 to the organization as the sponsor of Go Orange Day.
