BACKGROUND: Erin Moran spent 16 years in advertising sales and sales training until losing her sister Ashely, 34, in June of 2020. She began leading Go Red for Women for the American Heart Association as the senior director of business development. Now, she fights for every female heartbeat and raises awareness around the number one threat to women’s health, heart disease.

CAREER PATH INSPIRATION: “After losing my beautiful sister, Ashley, in June of 2020, I was forced to take a long hard look at how I could move through this life without her. Leading Go Red for Women has allowed me to honor her and ensure families do not have to face the same tragic loss as ours has.”

SOURCE OF PRIDE: “Having the ability to be a mentor to women navigating the corporate landscape fills my cup up and gives me so much joy.”

SOURCE OF INSPIRATION: “I have been very lucky to have several amazing mentors that I am able to lean on to this day. Whether for advice or just a ‘yes you can’ speech, these leaders that I have grown to call friends, have made me the success I am today.”

SURPRISING FACT: “I love to do accents. I have to warn people if they have an accent that I might start speaking like them mid-sentence — not on purpose, it just happens.”
