Danelle Trottier, CEO, Axiom Care
Background: Danelle Trottier is CEO of Axiom Care, where she leads one of Arizona’s largest providers of substance use treatment, recovery housing, and behavioral health. After joining Axiom as COO in 2024, she became CEO in 2026, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience. Under her guidance, Axiom has expanded critical services statewide, including new outpatient programs and residential campuses serving veterans, Tribal communities, and underserved populations. Previously, she held senior leadership roles with Native American Connections, Mountain Health and Wellness, and Southwest Network. Trottier holds degrees in criminal justice, psychology, and business, and is known for building mission-driven teams.
Advice to younger self: “If you do not like where your life is, change it. Growing up on a farm taught me hard work, but also that your beginnings do not define you. To make a real change, believe in yourself, take the leap, and never forget to support others along the way.”
Surprising fact: “I competed in Miss Teen America, thanks to my mom and aunt signing me up. I even made it to the finals, and yes, there is still a VHS tape somewhere. It was unexpected, but it taught me poise and public speaking confidence.”
