Professional advice: “Humility is the key to success. Listen and learn; your team members and peer network have a lot to teach you. Find a mentor that provides constructive criticism and “mirror moments,” and keeps your humility intact as you continue to experience success.”
Lesson learned in 2020: “The COVID-19 crisis reaffirmed this for me. A strong team can get you through anything. As the leader of the organization, it’s your responsibility to keep the business moving forward and to have the strength to make the tough decisions.”
Surprising fact: “I have 5 children, ranging in age from 3 to 17. Finding a balance between motherhood and business leader is often challenging, but incredibly rewarding. I want my daughters to see that women don’t have to choose between a family and a career, and my sons to not be afraid of a strong woman — they will enrich your life.”
