Today’s spotlight: Christine Boles

Vice president of Internet of Things Group, general manager of Industrial Solutions Division

Intel

Boles’ organization is responsible for Intel’s Industrial IOT business. For over 25 years, Boles led development, delivery and enabling Intel-based solutions, across a broad range of customers, applications and industries. Boles holds a BS in electrical engineering from University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Arizona State University.  Currently, Boles sits on Arizona Tech Council board, and previously sat on Chandler Chamber of Commerce board.

Lesson learned in 2020: “My personal brand includes being an approachable, relatable leader.  During 2020, I increased my connection with others, creating a safe workplace for individuals to deal with personal unknowns and challenges. Through focus and clear priorities, and encouraging individuals to ask for help, we globally achieved incredible business results.”

Source of pride: “This question spurs memories of various products that I have helped deliver or business that I helped grow.  In those memories, I picture the colleagues that I had the opportunity to work closely with, or coach through the years and how proud it makes me see their continued success.”

Surprising fact: “I love roller coasters!  I grew up near Cedar Point in Ohio, which established the passion for the thrill of a very fast roller coaster ride.  Probably why I enjoy off-roading with my family now to fill that need for speed and air rushing past me!”
