Helene Felman joins Banner – University Medicine

Helene Felman, MD, a pediatrician with experience in advocacy, well child care, and treating behavioral issues such as depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and anxiety, has joined the general pediatrics team as their Division Chief at Banner – University Medicine.

In addition, she will serve as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Felman most recently served as clinical assistant professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

As a pediatric generalist, Dr. Felman will treat children ages birth to 18 years old. Her practice focus is on health maintenance for children to ensure the child is meeting or exceeding health benchmarks. In addition, she also treats children with common health issues such as asthma, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD, obesity, depression, simple infections, upper respiratory illness, pneumonia and ear infections.

Dr. Felman will see patients at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, 1625 N. Campbell, Tucson AZ, 85719 and Banner University Medical Group Children’s Multispecialty Services, 535 North Wilmot Road, Suite 101, Tucson, AZ, 85711.

Dr. Felman completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago in biology and public policy.  Upon graduation, she spent two years in Washington, DC as a health policy consultant before completing her medical training at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She did her pediatric residency training at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and completed a residency fellowship in health policy at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.

Pediatric heart specialist joins Banner – University Medicine

Andrew Hoyer, MD, a cardiologist and heart imaging expert for children has joined Banner – University Medicine. Dr. Hoyer received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts and has been in practice 14 years.

He specializes in fetal cardiology and pediatric echocardiography. Dr. Hoyer is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease and the heart-related imaging tests echocardiography and cardiac MRI for children. He is the first pediatric cardiologist in southern Arizona with this expertise.

Dr. Hoyer treats children with heart murmurs, chest pain, palpitations, fainting and provides screenings for familial heart problems. He provides care for children from fetal life to adulthood.

IREM Greater Phoenix Chapter announces leadership for 2021

The Greater Phoenix Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, has announced its leadership and council members for 2021.

Rosalinda Bridges, CPM, with NLR Management/Haan Development, will serve as President. The leadership team includes Tyrel Williams, CPM, MEB Commercial Management Group, President-Elect; Ed Valerio, CPM, Knight Management, AMO, Treasurer; and Melissa Boyle, CPM, bkm Management Company, Past President.

Gregory E. Tomczak joins Rose Law Group

Rose Law Group pc, the largest woman-led law firm in Arizona’s history, added attorney Gregory E. Tomczak as Senior Litigation Counsel.

Tomczak, who will be part of Rose Law Group’s litigation practice concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, employment litigation, major felony criminal defense, white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and responding to subpoenas and/or requests for information from government agencies. Tomczak earned his Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2002, and earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Rutgers University in 1999.

Tomczak has had a long, successful and impressive career. He has served as lead counsel in over 20 jury trials and 40 non-jury trials. His former clients include former State Governors, the former General Partner of the New York Yankees, a multi-national hotel conglomerate, and many other multi-million dollar businesses and enterprises. He has also represented individuals and business organizations engaged in health care, automobile sales and service, real estate development, government contracting, hotels, education, and much more.

In addition, Tomczak has litigation experience at the state and federal level. The longtime litigator has represented individuals and business organizations in complex commercial litigation. He has litigated in a vast array of areas including partnership disputes, contract disputes, employment disputes concerning unfair business competition and restrictive covenants, and construction disputes. He has won and successfully defended numerous multi-million-dollar cases.

Executive from Cox Automotive joins Digital Air Strike

Digital Air Strike, the leading consumer engagement technology company, welcomed Jason Barrie to its award-winning executive leadership team. Barrie will serve as senior vice president of product strategy and market development.

Barrie spent 14 years at Dealertrack Technologies Inc. and Cox Automotive where he held leadership positions including serving as an associate vice president for Market Performance, VinSolutions, and Dealertrack F&I, as well as vice president and general manager of Dealertrack Dealer F&I.  Most recently Barrie was chief operating officer and general manager at Carmatic, a technology company geared toward simplifying the car buying experience for consumers.

Barrie and Digital Air Strike’s co-founder and CEO, Alexi Venneri, were colleagues at Dealertrack where Venneri was part of the senior team that took Dealertrack public as the vice president of marketing, communications, and investor relations.
