DIRECTV hosted the fifth annual DIRECTV Super Saturday near University of Phoenix Stadum, featuring a performance by worldwide icon Rihanna with special surprise guest Kanye West. Rihanna performed her fan favorite hits including “Umbrella,” “Rude Boy, “We Found Love,” and more. West surprised the party-goers when he joined Rihanna performing their hits, “All of the Lights” and “Run This Town.” The iconic rapper went on to perform a medley of his top singles (“Flashing Lights,” “Clique,” “Jesus Walks,” and more), plus his latest single “Only One.” Hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd also performed on-stage with Rihanna and sang their latest song “No Type” together.
The event co-hosted by Mark Cuban’s AXS TV and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Michael Strahan, has become known as the crown jewel of Super Bowl parties. The invitation-only event was held inside DIRECTV Super Fan Stadium at the Pendergast Family Farm in Glendale, Arizona’s Sports and Entertainment District, across from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, the site of Super Bowl XLIX.
