Hot off the press, Newsweek recently released its America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-Being 2026 list, recognizing employers across the country that are making employee well-being a priority.

We wanted to take a moment to spotlight the Arizona-headquartered companies that earned this national recognition, along with a select group of national employers that maintain a strong presence in our state.

This is not a comprehensive list, but rather a curated snapshot of organizations recognized nationally for supporting employee well-being and building strong workplace cultures.

A Shout-Out to BestCompaniesAZ Partners Supporting Employee Well-Being

In addition to nationally recognized employers, many BestCompaniesAZ partners are committed to building supportive workplace cultures that prioritize employee well-being, safety, and engagement.

We’d like to give special recognition to:

Achieve — Achieve’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is free, confidential, and available to all employees and their household members. It includes 24/7 access to licensed clinicians and up to eight free counseling sessions per issue, per year, along with helpful tools and resources.

They also offer Talkspace through the EAP, giving employees easy, flexible access to licensed therapists via text, audio, or video. Employees on the Aetna plan can also access psychiatric care, including medication support.  In addition, employees can use the Mind Companion Self-care program (within our EAP portal), a self-guided tool with activities and resources to support mental health and build healthy habits.

They also host weekly 15-minute chair yoga sessions to encourage employees to take time to reset and recharge. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, Achieve is partnering with the EAP to offer a live Zoom session for employees.  This year’s session, Finding Harmony Between Work and Home, is designed to help team members assess and organize their commitments to better support their needs. Learning practical strategies and tools to build and maintain a healthy work-life balance over time.

LAVIDGE — LAVIDGE supports employee well-being by providing employees with mental health resources, an employee wellness plan, flexible PTO, and a culture rooted in collaboration and community impact.
