W.J. Maloney Plumbing has been selected to provide plumbing contracting services for Component I of the $590 million renovation of Terminal 3 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The three-stage renovation project is expected to be completed in 2020. Component I includes a major renovation of the Terminal 3 Processor building, including the mezzanine, passenger, service and street levels. The south and north concourses of the terminal will be renovated in Components II and III.
W.J. Maloney Plumbing is providing design-assist plumbing services, with HuntAustin, a joint venture, serving as the general contractor for the overall project.
“Having worked on the recent PHX Sky Train project at the airport, our team has great familiarity with the airport and the terminal modernization project, which will provide an enhanced customer experience and create a more efficient terminal for passengers,” said Kathryn “Kitty” Maloney-Langmade, president of W.J. Maloney Plumbing. “We have a solid history of adding value to public works projects and this airport assignment will be no different.”
