Coppersmith Brockelman, a business law firm in Phoenix, announced the addition of Vidula Patki as an associate. A member of the commercial litigation and elections and political law practice areas, she assists clients in complex commercial disputes, appeals, and election-related matters.

Prior to joining Coppersmith Brockelman, Patki clerked for the former Chief Judge of the Arizona Court of Appeals and then practiced for nearly three years at a large national law firm. She has represented clients at both the trial court and appellate level.

“One of the keys to building a successful law firm is for the firm’s older lawyers to hire younger lawyers who are more talented than they are,” said Kent Brockelman, the firm’s managing partner.  “Vidula is another example of our long-standing devotion to this practice.  We are very happy she chose to join us.”

Patki earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics, Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona, where she graduated summa cum laude. She currently serves as a board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
