W.J. Maloney Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has begun work on the new St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center in Glendale, a $44M Dignity Health facility scheduled to open in early 2014.

W.J. Maloney  is responsible for the design/build of all the plumbing and medical gas systems on the project, including testing and certification.

When the new facility opens, the first phase will contain a 60,000 SF hospital that will include an emergency room, 24 inpatient beds, two operating rooms and diagnostic services. Located at Glendale and 99th avenues, it will provide West Valley residents with a new alternative to receive high quality healthcare services.

Hunt Construction Group is the general contractor.

The St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center project further strengthens W.J. Maloney’s reputation for delivering quality design/build services in the healthcare industry.

W.J. Maloney is also working on the Veteran’s Administration’s Southeast Healthcare Clinic in Gilbert and La Loma Village assisted living complex in Litchfield Park and recently completed work on the Orthopedic and Spine Inpatient Surgical (OASIS) Hospital in Phoenix, a 94,000 SF total joints and spine specialties hospital featuring eight operating rooms and 68 beds.
