BestCompaniesAZ is hosting a women’s career event on October 22nd from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the GoDaddy Global Technology Center – the new state-of-the-art facility in Tempe, Arizona. Here you can meet with GoDaddy Customer Care recruiters, enjoy a tour of the new facility and explore career opportunities as an Internet Sales and Service Consultant, Billing Sales and Retention Representative and Hosting Support Consultant.
GoDaddy, the world’s largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, opened the stunning 150,000 square foot facility last week. It’s a specially-designed two-story workplace located in the sprawling ASU Research Park in Tempe. The employee-friendly amenities include a fitness area, locker rooms, yoga room, game center, indoor-climbing wall, a go-kart track, relaxation stations, a putting green, plus GoDaddy bicycles, outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts, as well as a soccer field, eco-friendly features and a giant slide from the second-floor office area into a full-service kitchen with on-site chefs.
“BestCompaniesAZ is proud to support and promote GoDaddy’s growth and mission in advancing women in technology,” says Denise Gredler, CEO BestCompaniesAZ. “We invite all women who are passionate about technology and helping small businesses to come out Wednesday to the Career Event.” You’ll learn why GoDaddy’s more than 4,000 employees have voted this Arizona-headquartered company a FORTUNE Magazine 100 Best Companies to Work for in America, CareerBuilder Top Companies to Work for in Arizona and an Arizona Most Admired Company.
GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving has been an advocate for women in technology throughout his professional career. One of his first moves after taking over as GoDaddy CEO last year was to hire CTO Elissa Murphy, who has since created the GoDaddy Women in Technology network, a professional development and networking program. He is also a longtime supporter of the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, as well as the Society of Women Engineers.
