With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to make plans for your special night (if you haven’t already — eek!) Royal Palms Resort and Spa 

If you are looking for rose petals and a romantic backdrop, the Royal Palms Resort and Spa is the place for you! Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Royal Palms Resort and Spa is located at Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. 

For Valentine’s Day, guests can book the Royal Romance package which includes: overnight accommodation for two nights, daily breakfast, a $100 food and beverage credit, daily rose petal turndown service, and a late check-out. On Feb. 14, T. Cook’s, the resort’s signature restaurant, will invite couples and loved ones for a four-course dinner starting at $200 per person ( purchased online).. 

Miraval Arizona Resort 

Don’t just limit your Valentine’s experience to one day, relax and connect with yourself and loved ones all February long at Miraval Arizona in Tucson. Guests can “Wine, Dine and Valentine” all month long and experience well-being offerings suggested by Miraval’s programming team and spa experts. Suggestions include experiences such as “Soften Into Self-Love” wellness counseling session and “In the Spirit of Grapes” biodynamic wine experience. For the stay, the Miraval Unlimited package includes $175 nightly resort credit per person that can be used for spa services, yoga, private activities and more. 

Kimpton Hotel Palomar 

Located in the heart of Central Phoenix, the Kimpton Hotel Palomar is perfect if you are looking for a romantic getaway in the city. This boutique hotel has an award-winning dining experience, Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails, that will offer guests modern American gastro-pub fare and craft cocktails, along with a special four-course dinner on Valentine’s Day.

Dining: 

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa 

Set against a breathtaking southwest backdrop, Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa’s Alto ristorante e bar will offer a special five-course, pre-fixe this Valentine’s Day for guests and local residents. The menu will offer a variety of delectable courses including Stramboli Bianco, with prosciutto di parma, spinach and sweet cream. 

The pre-fixe dinner will be available on Valentine’s Day from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for $120 per person. Reservations can be made on Opentable

Belly Kitchen and Bar 

Located at Epicenter in the heart of Agritopia in Gilbert, Belly Kitchen and Bar offers a mix of romance and flavor with dishes inspired by locally-driven ingredients. The restaurant will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu on Feb. 14, where guests can choose between miso soup with miso fermented garlic or “Love at First Bite,” which features pan-seared scallops with charred carrot puree, black garlic gastrique and compressed kohlrabi slaw. The main course offers a pan-seared duck breast with spiced plum jam, charred broccolini, cippolini onion and toasted pistachio.

The Melting Pot 

Not only will hearts be melting this Valentine’s Day season, but so will 400,000 pounds of chocolate! With locations in Ahwatukee and Arrowhead, spend your Valentine’s Day at The Melting Pot and enjoy a four-course fondue meal with your special someone. Nothing says romance like melted cheese and chocolate! Available from Feb.10-14, The Melting Pot’s four-course Valentine’s Day menu will include cheese fondue, a salad, an entrée and chocolate fondue. Meals start at $120 a person and can be booked by visiting the Melting Pot’s website.

Roaring Fork

Beginning at 4 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Roaring Fork in Scottsdale will offer a romantic evening with specialty menu items including all-natural, Black Angus steaks served with caramelized shallot butter and chipotle demi-glaze including filet mignon, bone-in ribeye and New York Strip. Other featured items available on the night of Feb. 14 include broiled lobster tail with garlic pasilla pepper butter and the double-cut pork chop with mashed potato, maple grain mustard glaze, and tomato jam.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament 

If you want to see a real knight in shining armor this Valentine’s Day, head to the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Scottsdale. Medieval Times will offer a Valentine’s Day add-on package that includes a bottle of wine, two commemorative glasses and a photo keepsake for $54.95. The tournament will feature a four-course feast while you get to watch knights joust in medieval-style games.
