The Spirits of Mexico Festival, an annual celebration of Mexico’s rich heritage, is returning to Downtown Phoenix on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Heritage Square (113 N. 6th St.). This year’s event will bring two vibrant days of culture, cuisine, music, and mixology to the heart of the city.

Now in its third year, the festival is produced by Imex Live Events, LLC, and presented in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix, Downtown Phoenix Inc., and the City of Phoenix Economic Development Department. This year’s theme honors a major milestone: the 50th Anniversary of Phoenix and Hermosillo as Sister Cities, celebrating a half-century of friendship, cultural exchange, and economic collaboration.

The Spirits of Mexico Festival serves as a dynamic platform that deepens cross-border connections, spotlighting the vibrant traditions, flavors, and entrepreneurial spirit of the state of Sonora.

“The Spirits of Mexico Festival is a bridge connecting Arizona with Mexico,” said Yazmin Quezada, festival producer. “This year, we are proud to highlight Sonora, showcasing its rich traditions, flavors, and entrepreneurial spirit to Phoenix audiences, and commemorating the milestone of 50 years of friendship between Phoenix and Hermosillo.”

Guests are encouraged to reserve tickets early to access the full lineup of performances, tastings, and hands-on workshops.

General admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $55. GA guests can enjoy the live music, food trucks, Sonoran Indigenous Art & Handcraft Market, tortilla-making and kids’ activities.
