This summer, L’Auberge de Sedona, the acclaimed creekside retreat nestled among the Red Rocks of Sedona, will undergo more than $7 million in property enhancements, and unveil an elevated creekside arrival experience and enhanced luxury guest accommodations this fall. The L’Auberge de Sedona is owned and operated by IMH Financial Corporation.
As part of the multi-million dollar renewal, L’Auberge de Sedona’s new arrival and welcome experience will serve as a corridor to Oak Creek, with panning windows that open up the space to provide stunning views of the creekside setting from the new lobby reception area that features the hotel’s Wine Spectator award-winning bar, concierge station, social spaces and dining areas.
Additionally, the property’s 30 creekside and garden cottages will undergo an extensive interior design transformation boasting new furniture, fixtures, design features, flooring and bathrooms. The plan will carefully enhance a handful of cottages at a time throughout the summer months to eliminate disturbance to guests. Modern “smart” features including automated lighting and air conditioning controls will be added, along with the latest state-of-the-art IP television offerings.
“The enhancement plan will take an already stellar resort and guest experience to the next level,” says Larry Bain, President and CEO of IMH. “Since acquiring the hotel, IMH Financial has elevated the property, both in service and financial performance.”
While the interior updates are taking place on property, the plan will transform the previously exclusive Creekhouse into a warm and inviting guest arrival experience. Perched on the banks of Oak Creek, visitors will be welcomed inside by the front desk and concierge teams.
L’Auberge de Sedona’s main interior kitchen will also undergo an expansion, including a custom Vulcan Suite designed by Executive Chef Rochelle Daniel to match her elevated culinary vision, which will result in the debut of a new full-service dining venue this fall.
“We are looking forward to welcoming guests throughout the summer months, as we enhance L’Auberge de Sedona. Guests will continue to be able to dine creekside and enjoy Northern Arizona’s beautiful weather,” says Jesse Alexander, General Manager of L’Auberge de Sedona.
