Samsung has unveiled six limited-edition watch bands for the Galaxy Watch 4 that are composed of recyclable and environmentally friendly materials such as apple peel. The series consists of six different patterns. The bands “Midnight Black” and “Stratus Sky” are constructed entirely of apple peel skin that has been “recovered from the produce business.” Samsung claims the material has the “luxury appearance of leather,” despite the fact that it is clearly not made from animals. The other four designs are composed of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material that Samsung claims is recyclable (“Aurora Night,”“Earth Sunrise,”“Cloud Navy,” and “Dawn Atlas”).
