Marking a decade of unforgettable experiences, Arizona Boardwalk is celebrating its 10th Anniversary by reaching new heights—literally—with the debut of The Boardwalk SkyWheel this April. Standing 80 feet tall, this climate-controlled giant Ferris wheel will offer breathtaking 360-degree views of the Valley and beyond, combining cool comfort with elevated moments at every turn.

Landmark Moment
Perfectly positioned behind Butterfly Wonderland’s iconic glass conservatory, The Boardwalk SkyWheel will quickly become a stunning centerpiece—visible from the Loop 101—cementing its place as a must-see landmark in Scottsdale. From the top, riders will take in sweeping panoramic views of the Valley, including the McDowell, Black, Mummy, Four Peaks, and Camelback Mountains—offering a perspective like no other.
Cool, Comfortable, and Completely Unique
Designed with the Arizona climate in mind, The Boardwalk SkyWheel features 18 fully enclosed, air-conditioned gondolas, offering a cool, comfortable escape year-round—even in peak summer heat. Each gondola seats up to six adults, making it ideal for families, couples, or group outings.

Guests will glide skyward on a 5–8-minute ride set to pleasant onboard music, while dazzling full-color LED lighting transforms the wheel into a glowing beacon after sunset—adding a vibrant new glow to the Arizona Boardwalk skyline as it celebrates 10 years.
Visually, the ride is as striking as the views. Its crisp white wheel and support columns, centered with the Arizona Boardwalk logo, create a sleek backdrop for vibrant gondolas in red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and teal delivering a bold pop of color that is impossible to miss.

Pricing for The Boardwalk SkyWheel is $9 for the first rider and $6 for each additional guest in the same cabin, making it easy to ride solo or share the experience. Guests can also add The Boardwalk SkyWheel to any Arizona Boardwalk attraction for savings of up to 40%.

Today, nearly 200 signatures lie behind the glow of the main wheel’s lights, forever built into its core, celebrating the people whose energy, pride, passion, and commitment make Arizona Boardwalk extraordinary.
