The 30th Annual Chandler Chamber of Commerce Ostrich Festival announces legendary rock band, The Beach Boys will headline the festival on the Main Stage on Sunday, March 11. Tickets for the 2018 festival, March 9-11, are on sale now at OstrichFestival.com.
The Beach Boys have been part of the culture of American music for more than 50 years. Known for their vocal harmonies, they are considered one of the most influential rock and roll artists of their generation. The group rose to fame in 1963 with the release of a series of hit records that would come to define the “California Sound,” with anthems that reflected the vibrant youth culture of southern California with an emphasis on surfing and young love. In 1966, the band’s popularity skyrocketed with the release of “Good Vibrations,” a single that established the band as one of the finest innovators of the era and as an icon in rock music.
The group went on to become one of the most successful rock bands of all time. Over the course of their career, The Beach Boys garnered the most US Top 40 hits by an American rock band with a total of 36, in addition to more than 80 songs charting worldwide. The group has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands. In 1988, the band’s founding members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their place in music history. Furthermore, in 2004, Rolling Stone magazine listed the The Beach Boys as No. 12 in their list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time.”

Festival attendees can now purchase single tickets prior to the event online for a discounted rate that will be available until February 1. With the discount, adult tickets are $13, seniors 55+ and children 12 and under are just $6 and children four and under are free. On February 1, ticket prices go up to $15 for adults and $8 for seniors 55+ and children 12 and under, and children four and under are free. Ride tickets and all-day passes must be purchased separately. VIP tickets are also available for purchase and include festival entry, VIP tent access, one meal and three drinks. Family packs and individual all-day ride passes will be available at a later date.
