Pickleball, a sport that now has a market of 36.5 million players according to the 2023 APP Pickleball Participation Report, is the heartbeat of the complex. With pickleball and food as the primary focal points, the entertainment venue provides a family-friendly atmosphere that all ages can enjoy.

“Chicken N Pickle was first to the market over seven years ago, and our ‘low-tech, high touch’ concept is simple,” said Brad Clarke, CEO of Chicken N Pickle.  “Guests visit our properties seeking an experience, and one of the most rewarding things we see is when people gather on our pickleball courts and game yard, or over high-quality food and craft cocktails, with their family and friends.”

The new venue in Glendale is approximately 65,000 square feet and can hold a capacity of 2,000 people. The main dining area is spacious enough for corporate and social events, from lunch meetings to large rehearsal dinners and team building events. Chicken N Pickle Glendale will be equipped with bars, pavilions, multiple dining areas on the main floor and a rooftop dining experience, along with outdoor tables for guests to enjoy. The venue will feature numerous indoor and outdoor pickleball courts and a variety of lawn games.

“Chicken N Pickle is joining a list of best-in-class establishments at the Westgate Entertainment District,” said Garrett Stutz, the director of real estate and expansion for Chicken N Pickle. “Glendale is a growing community, and we are excited to be a part of its vibrant entertainment hub.”

The menu – which features responsibly raised, antibiotic-free, hormone-free chicken – includes delicious, rotisserie dishes available in four different seasonings along with pork and beef sandwiches and its signature hand-cut fries and tots.

The entertainment venue is committed to giving back to the communities they serve through philanthropic events and service-oriented endeavors that strengthen its neighborhoods. In 2022, Chicken N Pickle supported over 2,000 charitable organizations, hosted more than 730 fundraisers, and put more than $325,000 back into local communities through in-kind and general donations and property give-backs.

“We say ‘our hearts are local’ because we support our communities through philanthropy and through our business practices,” said Kelli Alldredge, president of Chicken N Pickle. “We are thrilled to become a part of the Glendale community and begin supporting the neighborhoods around us.”

Westgate Entertainment District, located in the heart of Glendale and just steps away from Desert Diamond Arena and State Farm Stadium, was ideal for Chicken N Pickle to land its first Arizona establishment.

“We are thrilled to be Chicken N Pickle’s first location in Arizona,” said Jessica Kubicki, director of marketing for YAM Properties. “Westgate, where fun happens, is the spot for Arizonans to make lasting memories and Chicken N Pickle offers a setting for patrons to enjoy a new, unique experience.”

The hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Friday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The entertainment venue will announce updated hours in the fall/winter.
