Free shuttle to the Phoenix Open
We are a few days away from the start of the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open. If you’re planning on attending the event, the Scottsdale Quarter is offering an alternative transportation option for free.
On Friday, Feb 1st, Saturday, Feb 2nd and Sunday, Feb 3rd from 12pm-5pm, guests can park at The Quarter, grab brunch and hop on the free Mercedes Sprinter from Driver Provider Shuttle that will pick-up and drop-off guests at Kona Grill throughout the duration of the day.
There is no purchase requirement to board the bus. It is a Sprinter that holds 14 people and the bus will be making trips back and forth all day. Depending on traffic from getting in out and of the event will determine the turnaround time.

Waste Management Phoenix Open offers breast feeding/pump lounge
This year, the Waste Management Phoenix Open is truly “The People’s Open”. For the first time ever moms will have a place to relax and escape during the popular event and breastfeed or pump in privacy.
The Happy Mom Lounge, put on by locally owned Modern Milk, is a pop-up lounge that will be located in its own enclosed area inside the Expo Tent. The lounge will be accessible the same hours that the WM Open is happening and offer electrical outlets for breast pumps, lounge chairs for moms to relax with their babies or pump as well as a changing table station for those needing a place to change their little ones. The inside will be decorated in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Interviews with Modern Milk about this exciting announcement are available.
Modern Milk is locally owned and operated by Stephanie Nguyen, a registered nurse, women’s health nurse practitioner and international board certified lactation consultant. Modern Milk’s mission is to provide a community wellness center to educate, encourage, and empower today’s modern moms. A happy mom makes a happy baby.
