JAMIE LOVES in December…

As I was working on getting my holiday shopping done, I had the pleasure of visiting with my long time friend and owner of Valerianne, Greg Harper. He has just moved his store into a beautiful new chic boutique by Arcadia Farms in downtown Scottsdale. I have known Greg for more than 15 years; it is refreshing to have his fabulous eye bringing us all the beautiful pieces he has.

So, of course, I started my holiday shopping with a little something for myself! What could be better than a new set of gorgeous goose down sleeping pillows. Cloud Nine, all Polish goose down with Egyptian cotton ticking, are my favorite! I love the potential to make all your bad nightmares from 2011 be thrown out with old pillows!

Dbo Ware Pedestal Dessert Bowls

The chicest design in tabletop is to mix up your salad and dessert plates. I found an amazing addition to any dish set you have. DB Home, designed by the artist Dana Brandwein, is making the hottest white bisque pottery ice cream bowl, $175, which doubles as a trifle bowl mousse or even a great candy or nut dish.

This fabulous candle is a frequent purchase of mine! My favorite scents for December are Abd El Kader and La Marquise for this winter weather!

Soaps, soaps, soaps!

Valerianne has an incredible collection of French milled soaps, which last forever! I am tired of seeing soap pumps in powder rooms; mix it up with different shapes, sizes and scents!

Tunisian hand towels

Another beautiful hostess gift are these beautiful hand towels designed by a Tunisian artist. They are made of cotton linen blends, hand tied fringe and are available in a variety of colors and patterns.
