“Opening the new Tasting Room is an exciting new chapter in our family story,” said Cindy Molin, Co-Owner of Cove Mesa Vineyard. “We are so grateful and fortunate to have had the support of the community and the Arizona wine industry as we worked hard to bring this new space to life,” she said.

The Verde Valley has gained international acclaim as a premier wine destination with dozens of wineries and tasting rooms in the region. On December 10, 2021 the Verde Valley was designated as an American Viticultural Area (AVA).

This esteemed designation identifies the unique geography, topography, soils, and climate (together known as “the terroir”) of the Verde Valley AVA as a federally recognized grape growing region.

“With four beautiful seasons and unique desert climate, it is the ideal place to showcase our Old World style of winemaking that utilizes the unique terroir of Arizona’s high desert vineyards,” the Molins said.

Cove Mesa Vineyard’s new Tasting Room features a beautifully appointed interior room for sit-down tastings, including a welcoming wine bar, comfortable banquette seating throughout, pet-friendly all-season covered porch and grounds designed to compliment the small-town charm of the area.

Cindy Molin serves as Head Chef for the Tasting Room, which offers an extensive menu of gourmet dishes including an array of charcuterie boards featuring the finest imported and local meats and cheeses, homemade favorites like Mac & Cheese, vegan boards which feature cheeses and fig salami from the award-winning Virgin Cheese in Clarkdale, AZ, and house-made fresh salads and scratch-made dips and sauces. A rotating array of seasonal dishes with European flair include smoked duck and duck paté pairings and specialty sausages.

Open 7 days a week, Cove Mesa Vineyard offers a relaxed and intimate environment to explore the winery’s award-winning wine collection for area visitors and wine aficionados alike.

“It is truly our vision to be as much of a local destination for socializing, delicious food and fine wine as it is to be a visitor destination for Arizona guests of the Verde Valley,” Emil Molin said.

“We have an incredible community in the Verde Valley and we wanted our space to feel like the neighborhood’s living room,” he said.
