While COVID-19 has impacted shopping environments nationwide, Desert Ridge Marketplace has recently welcomed three new businesses to its ever-expanding lineup of tenants – Eat the Frog Fitness, Creations Boutique and Reformed Pilates.

Eat the Frog Fitness

Now Open

North Valley residents have a new, science-backed way to get in shape – Eat the Frog Fitness. The studio, located on the southwest side of the shopping center near Flower Child and Chipotle, blends proprietary training methods with an evidence-based model to create a fitness approach to be inclusive of everybody and every body. Small class sizes and coach-led sessions help ETF eliminate gym-intimidation, encourage safe social interaction and integrate adaptive technology.

The regimen starts with a 30-minute fitness assessment of each new client. Fitness needs are customized for an 8-week training guide based on each person’s heart rate training zone. Classes are specifically designed with a mix of cardio, strength, flexibility, core and recovery to benefit everyone from the first timer to the professional athlete.

ETF makes each client’s fitness and health a top priority and has instituted measures to ensure a safe workout environment, including utilizing every-other equipment station, providing disinfectant at all machines, operating at a 50% capacity for classes and thoroughly sanitizing the space at the end of each class.
