The 3rd Sound Wave music festival presented by Disco Donnie and Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE) has been scheduled! This is Arizona’s first electronic dance music (EDM) festival, which debuted in 2011, held at a waterpark. Don’t miss this unique event taking place on Saturday, September 29 at Big Surf Waterpark at 4 p.m.

“Our goal was to be the first to bring electronic dance music fans in Arizona an experience they had never had before,” says Steve LeVine, SLE’s Chief Entertainment Officer, “and the third installment of this festival is promised to be bigger and better than ever!”

And this year, internationally acclaimed DJ Calvin Harris will be headlining the event. Harris has made waves in the EDM scene since 2007 and has worked with well-known artists, including LMFAO and Kylie Minogue. You may have even heard his tracks, “Feel So Close” and “We Found Love,” which features Rihanna, on the radio every now and then.

As the list of other internationally acclaimed DJs are being confirmed, this year’s event is anticipated to be the largest. In the past, Sound Wave hosted 20 international and national DJs, including Kaskade, Kraddy, Boys Noize, Diplo and Porter Robinson.

The Sound Wave music festival will also feature art exhibits, three stages that work within a functioning waterpark, bars, VIP sections and more. Those with VIP tickets will be granted access to two private water slides, a private bar, as well as a collectible VIP laminate. General public tickets are now on sale.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
