Red rocks, green grass and fresh mountain air. It sounds like a sweet setting for a bike ride to us! Fortunately, it’s time to gear up for the inaugural mountain bike race along 18 holes of the Sedona Golf Resort. This event is six-miles long with race categories that include, pro and the less competitive “sport” designations. There are also tiers in which children of different ages may compete. Even if you don’t want to feel the wind whip around your helmet hair, you can join the post-race party with food, beer and a silent auction to benefit the Verde Valley Cycling Coalition.
