Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth coming to Ak-Chin Pavilion

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE has announced additional North American tour dates for 2019.  For these shows, OSBOURNE will be backed by his longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards), with Megadeth supporting for the entire North American run.

Tickets for the 2019 North American “NO MORE TOURS 2” shows go on sale to the general public starting Friday, November 9 at LiveNation.com and through the Live Nation app.  Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour. The “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour launched in May 2018 in Santiago, Chile for solo shows in three countries followed by a six-week European leg of headlining solo dates and festival performances.  A North American tour followed kicking off August 30 in Allentown, PA, with the final four shows of that leg of the tour postponed for OZZY to recover from an infection.  Those four shows–Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas–will now conclude the 2019 dates. Tickets for these rescheduled dates are on sale now at LiveNation.com. The trek will also include a newly announced June 11 stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  Prior to his 2019 dates, OZZY will headline a special New Year’s Eve OZZFEST spectacular at the Forum in Los Angeles.

On his upcoming farewell world tour, produced by Live Nation, OSBOURNE will celebrate more than five decades as a performer (both as a solo artist and as lead singer of Black Sabbath which formed in 1968).  This tour, expected to take OZZY around the world with dates into 2020, will mark the end of global touring for the legendary artist, though he will continue to perform select live shows in the future.  Throughout his career, OZZY has sold more than 100 million records.

Chicago returns to Phoenix

Danny Zelisko Presents welcomes Chicago at 7:30p.m. on Tuesday, February 12th at the historic Celebrity Theatre. Reserved seat tickets for the event go on sale at 10a.m. on Friday, November 16th at www.celebritytheatre.com

The legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in at #4, the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine’s recent Hot 200 All-Time Top Artists. And Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.

In 2016, Chicago was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!  This was their first nomination. They’ve been eligible since 1994. A long time coming!

Chicago’s first album, Chicago Transit Authority, was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame in 2014, and the band performed on the Grammy stage for the first time that year.

Robert Lamm and James Pankow have become the latest inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization’s 48th Annual Induction on June 15th in New York City. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday In The Park,” “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day,” “Make Me Smile,” and many others.

More than 40 years after its debut, Chicago II still sounds like nothing else. Released in 1970, Chicago’s second album brims with confidence and inspiration as it draws on everything from orchestral music to heavy rock. It spawned a trio of Top Ten hits, and the timeless classic has been remastered to reveal unprecedented clarity and definition. For the first time a new stereo remix, created by British musician and producer Steven Wilson from the 16-track multi-track tapes, made it possible to bring out elements that were muffled or submerged in the mix. The result is a new stereo version of CHICAGO II that boasts clearness, punch and definition that it didn’t have before.  It has recently been released by Rhino Records on CD and vinyl.

Chicago’s newest record of new studio tracks, “NOW” CHICAGO XXXVI, was released on Frontiers Records. It includes eleven brand new songs, recorded on the road. Chicago has built a new recording system that is flexible, portable, powerful and musical. This new “recording rig” travels with the band.  They have even created an online collaboration portal that allows even more performances to be worked on around the clock from remote locations. The CD package is a six-panel digipack with a beautiful 16-page full color lyric booklet.
