Arizona Cardinals’ Star Cornerback, Pro Bowler and All–Pro Patrick Peterson will host his first annual Patrick Peterson Celebrity Golf Tournament at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th.
“I am extremely excited to launch the Patrick Peterson Celebrity Golf Tournament at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale. I’ve been playing in Celebrity Golf Tournaments for a few years now, and I’m thrilled to be able to host my own! I am really looking forward to doing something I love with close friends, while making a difference in the lives of countless children,” said Patrick Peterson, founder of the Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success. “Foundation for Success aims to provide low-income and inner city youth with opportunities and resources to reach their full potential. The proceeds raised from this weekend event will help us continue working towards that mission.”
Patrick Peterson established The Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success in 2013 when he realized that there were thousands of children in Arizona and nationwide that were struggling to meet standard literacy rates. Since its launch in November 2013, the Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success has raised more than $250,000 in support of signature programs and initiatives and has impacted the lives of more than 36,000 youth. Patrick and his Foundation have already launched three Patrick’s Corners reading corners at three Tier-One Public Schools in Phoenix, and plan to launch more in the coming years.
This inaugural annual event is scheduled to kick off Saturday, March 19th at Penske Racing Museum with a VIP Sponsor & Pairings Party. The Celebrity Golf Tournament will follow on Sunday, March 20th at Camelback Golf Club’s Ambiente Course with a shotgun start at 8:30 am and will feature a Celebrity in each foursome. The tournament will include a team competition as well as multiple on-course contests and special activities. Immediately following play the Closing Awards Luncheon will be at Camelback Golf Club.
