For Nuge fanatics, a Ted Nugent show is not just a performance—it’s a fire breathing celebration! The guitar wild man brings his high-octane “Rockin’ America Again” show to the Valley’s historic Celebrity Theatre at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27th.

To millions of music lovers, Ted Nugent has carved a permanent place in rock and roll history as a passionate guitar-shredding showman. His no-holds barred career spans five decades of rowdy rockers from the ground breaking Amboy Dukes’ hit “Journey to the Center of the Mind,” to classics like “Stranglehold”and “Cat Scratch Fever,” Damn Yankees chartbuster “High Enough,” plus cult classic “Fred Bear.”  Nugent has sold more than 40 million albums, and his inimitable sound has been featured on A&E’s Biography and on VH1’s Behind the Music. Fondly called the Motor City Madman, Nugent was named Detroit’s Greatest Guitar Player of All Time by readers of MLive!

To millions of citizens, Nugent is also one of the nation’s most outspoken far right activists. His pro-gun, pro-hunting (he eats everything he kills), anti-drink, and anti-drug lifestyle has made him the anti-rock star rock star. Opinionated, unapologetic, and always quotable, Nugent has said, “I have militantly defended my quality of life, and I would never compromise it in the name of hipness or acceptability of my so-called peers.”

The NRA board member and conservative guitar hero once called for border-crossing immigrants to be shot on sight, and told Newsmax.com’s The Steve Malzberg Show, “Donald Trump is as close to Ted Nugent as you’re going to get in politics.”

Politics aside, as Nugent nears 70, there’s no denying he puts on an amazing rock show!
