The Cambria Hotel Downtown Phoenix, located in the Roosevelt Row Arts District, is now open. The seven-story, 127-room hotel welcomes locals and visitors alike to enjoy its full-service restaurant and rooftop bar with panoramic city views.

The hotel is managed by Oxford Hotels & Resorts, LCC, an award-winning, lifestyle-oriented hotel management company specializing in high energy hotels and food & beverage venues, while it was developed by True North Studio, LLC, a local real estate development firm based at the historic monOrchid, with multiple projects nearby that are enhancing the Roosevelt Row Arts District and downtown Phoenix. True North Studio worked with Tempe-based architect DAVIS and Scottsdale-based general contractor UEB Builders. The $26 million hotel features three upper-floor corner suites with downtown views.

Cambria Downtown Phoenix is committed to embracing and elevating local artists. True North Studio worked with Artlink Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, on a formal call to artists for two public art commissions. Heather Freitas was selected to create the triptych of exterior murals celebrating plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert, while Craig Randich was selected to create an iconic shade sculpture situated over the hotel’s entrance. Additional local art can be found throughout the hotel’s gallery, including a floral mural by Nyla Lee in the ground-floor restaurant. In the grab-and-go market near check-in, guests will find provisions from local vendors, such as Lotus and Lava, Gypsy Moon Botanicals, The Fig and The Knife and more local favorites.

Hotel amenities include:

Poppy

Led by renowned executive chef and Chicago transplant, Nate Cayer, Poppy is Cambria Downtown Phoenix’s signature restaurant. Chef Nate designed Poppy’s menu with seasonality and shareability in mind.
