The 2nd annual Extra Innings Festival will rock Tempe Beach Park and Arts Park on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, Mar. 1. Headliners include The Lumineers, Kings of Leon and Kacey Musgraves. The festival is set to include three stages with a total of 18 indie and country music artists.

Friday’s festivities will begin at 12:15 p.m., with Red Leather performing. Doors will open at noon. Both the Home Plate and Right Fields will have performances in the early afternoons, with Left Field becoming active around 3:45 p.m. Friday’s headliner, The Lumineers, will begin playing at 9 p.m. on Home Plate.
Home Plate will host Jason Scott and the High Heat, Evan Honer, Wyatt Flores, Megan Moroney and The Lumineers, with the latter three acts supported by ASL interpretation. Right Field will showcase performances from Red Leather, Lily Fitts, Trampled by Turtles, O.A.R and Red Clay Strays.
Left Field is set to host Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, a live version of the late-night style talk show. Dempster is a 16-year World Series Champion and MLB pitcher, and will be entertaining MLB fans on the Left Field from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. and 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Saturday’s doors will open at noon, and Wheelwright will set off the day’s performances on Right Field at 12:15 p.m. Home Plate will host George Pippen, Maggie Antone, Max Mcnown, Kings of Leon and Kacey Musgraves, with the latter three artists being supported by ASL, once again. Right Field’s Wheelwright will be followed by Tanner Usrey, Sam Barber, Grace Potter and Marren Morris.
Left Field will once again host Ryan Dempster, this time at 3:15 and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Batting Cage will feature Coco Crisp, Brady Anderson and Mike Hargrove on Friday, and Jake Peavy, Javy Lopez and Derrek Lee on Saturday.
Extra Innings Festival is sponsored by Chase, Lyft, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Verizon, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Tempe Tourism. Food options include El Jefe Tacos, Sonoran Grillz, Wendy’s Street Tacos & Hot Dogs and other options. There will be options for gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian festival attendees.
Other than music and baseball offerings, Extra Innings is offering activities such as batting cages, a speed pitch, and multiple brand booths with photo opportunities and free merch.
