The Spot at Arcadia is the area’s first family-friendly sports bar. The chef curated menu takes traditional favorites such as wings, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches to new heights while the specialty cocktail list includes original drinks from frozen creations to specialty martinis. The Spot also has an ice cream parlor, arcade and outdoor patio games for kiddos.
“In order to create a truly successful concept, I had to figure out what’s missing in this area,” The Spot at Arcadia Owner Scott Hibler said. “Arcadia has some of the best restaurants in Phoenix, but it lacks family-friendly establishments where mom, dad and kids can really enjoy what they’re individually looking for, together. After months of strategic planning, The Spot is bridging the gap.”

In addition to a full brunch, lunch and dinner menu, The Spot at Arcadia has an ice cream parlor with a wide array of flavors and a cotton candy machine. It also has an extensive collection of board games families can enjoy at their tables, outdoor cornhole, a large patio and an arcade with games that are hard to find in the Valley including a mini arcade with sit down Mario Kart Racing Machines
“We’re definitely the only restaurant in Phoenix where dad can enjoy a beer while watching the game and look over at another TV to see his kid playing in the arcade,” Hibler said. “Think of us as the utopia for family fun and fantastic food.”
The top three items on the menu are the Lobster Roll, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Island Shrimp Tacos that were created by renowned chef Francis Gonzales who has helped develop menus for other popular restaurants like LGO. The Spot also offers signature pizzas with fan favorites being the BBQ Brisket (in-house smoked brisket, cheese and Asian BBQ sauce), Sweet Dreams (pizza sauce, pepperoni, goat cheese, spicy agave and parmesan) and Blanco (white sauce cheese pizza).
“Customers tell me almost every single day that our pizzas are the best in town,” Hibler said. “While we’re not strictly a pizza place, what that says about us is we offer the best of the best when it comes to all food options. I personally always recommend the lobster roll if people are looking to be blown away.”
When it comes to brunch, customers will find one-of-a-kind food combinations designed to excite the palate including the Bacon Glazed Donuts, Home Run Crispy Chicken Bowl, Smoked Gouda Hash Browns and the Breakfast Sandwich that is served on a donut.
“Our signature cocktails are also spot on, pun intended,” Hibler said. “We’re in the process of patenting the recipe for our Arcadia Monsoon which is our very popular frozen drink. The First and Final drink is a favorite too because you get one before your meal and one after your meal. And then Three Amigos Tequila custom made our Mango Margarita just for The Spot. You won’t find it anywhere else.”
