Buck & Rider: Raw bar, steak and seafood eatery
Buck & Rider will have a third Valley location at Epicenter in Agritopia when it opens in the fourth quarter of 2022. Boasting a exemplary reputation of carrying the finest in fresh seafood, the restaurant highlights the catches of West, East and Gulf Coast fishermen and oyster farm partners, and its steak program features LGO Reserve, the first in Arizona to be awarded with a private USDA label. A split-flap board featuring real-time seafood updates can be seen from every seat in the restaurant. Craft cocktails, a raw bar, hand-rolled sushi and farm-fresh vegetables will also be available. Buck & Rider will be open for lunch, dinner, and a fun weekend brunch with live music.
Wylde Hair Salon and Hooligan’s Barbershop
Wylde Hair Salon will appeal to those who live in nearby Agritopia or anyone wanting highly personalized hair services. Cuts, color, braids, extensions, and other hair treatments are available for ongoing mane maintenance, plus hair services for special events such as weddings and school dances. As a sibling business to Wylde Hair Salon, Hooligan’s Barbershop lets the guys in on the hottest grooming trends, too. The modern barbershop will offer cuts, beard trims, straight razor and other services. It’s also designed to act as a social place where people can gather and have lively dialogue, much like the barbershops of a bygone era.
UnderTow: Exotic cocktail bar
UnderTow by the genius minds at Barter & Shake will “set sail” at Epicenter in Agritopia. Part rum tiki bar, part entertainment experience, guests “embark” on a journey while enjoying some of the most creative and outrageously unique cocktails to be found anywhere. UnderTow is a completely immersive experience that sends guests on a journey in the underbelly of a spice trader’s turn-of-the-century ship. View portals allow guests to visually follow where the journey takes them, and bartenders tell the ongoing story of the ship and Captain John Mallory and his journeys. The “story” at UnderTow evolves every several months, providing new experiences and cocktails. Signature décor and special effects have been designed by industry-leading commissioned artists.
