Maracay will celebrate the highly-anticipated grand opening of Copper Bend, its latest East Valley community located in the Town of Gilbert just northeast of the Hunt Highway and Higley Road, on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The grand opening event will include a neighborhood gathering from 12-3 p.m. and feature a catered lunch and refreshments. Potential homebuyers are encouraged to attend the family-friendly event and explore the community with one of Maracay’s New Home Advisors to learn all about the neighborhood and its amenities.

Copper Bend residents will enjoy stunning panoramas of San Tan Mountain Regional Park and the surrounding mountains, all from the comfort of their yards or at one of nine nearby, breathtaking hiking trails. The community is within close proximity to countless East Valley amenities, including Seville Golf & Country Club, the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center, Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, movie theaters, parks and much more. Residents are also just minutes from the East Valley’s major employment opportunities, premier shopping centers and a wide variety of dining options. While these homes have a Queen Creek mailing address, they are located in the Town of Gilbert, receive Gilbert services and have access to high-performing schools in the Chandler Unified School District, including Basha High School.

This intimate, gated community features 38 oversized homesites, each measuring one-quarter of an acre and offering spacious backyards with generous distances between homesites for extra elbow room and added privacy. Four distinct Flex Design® floor plans, ranging from approximately 2,963 to 3,474 square feet, feature a variety of personalization options including an executive gourmet kitchen, an extended master bedroom, a butler’s pantry connecting the kitchen to the dining room and many more.

The homes at Copper Bend will be registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a third-party rating system that verifies compliance across several areas addressing sustainability, with the goal of earning the LEED® Certified designation. Designed to use 30–50 percent less energy than typical homes, each home will meet the EPA’s Indoor airPLUS specifications and will feature water-efficient fixtures, LED lighting, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, Energy Star® appliances, tankless water heaters, and Wi-Fi-enabled, programmable thermostats. Homes will also be Energy Star® certified and feature the latest in smart home technology and Maracay’s proprietary LivingSmart® program for maximum performance and cost-efficiency.
