The Uptown Phoenix restaurant will host its Back-to-School BBQ from 4 p.m. to close Saturday, Aug. 22, at 100 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 150. The gathering brings together barbecue, cold drinks and live music for a relaxed neighborhood hang built for lingering over dinner and catching up with friends.

“This time of year always feels like a reset,” said co-owner Scott Hibler. “Schedules start filling up again, summer starts moving faster and everyone is trying to squeeze in a few more good evenings. We wanted to create one of those evenings here.”

Guests can settle in with Horse & Hyde’s barbecue menu, order something cold and enjoy a live performance from Jameson Houston from 4 to 7 p.m.
