The 30th Annual Chandler Chamber of Commerce Ostrich Festival announces legendary country artist John Michael Montgomery will headline the festival on the Main Stage on Saturday, March 10. Tickets for the 2018 festival, March 9-11, are on sale now at OstrichFestival.com. 

John Michael Montgomery is a beloved country music star who, known for his crooning power ballads and authentic lyrics, has earned both critical acclaim and immense commercial success. An icon in country music since the early 1990s, Montgomery is probably best known for his singles “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me” and “I Can Love You Like That,” which have become some of the most beloved country songs in modern music history. Musical talent runs in Montgomery’s family, as he grew up in a house full of musicians. His brother Eddie Montgomery went on to become half of the popular country duo Montgomery Gentry. 

Over the course of his illustrious career, Montgomery has earned numerous industry awards including the CMA Horizon award, an ACM award for Top New Vocalist, a series of CMA Single and Song of the Year awards, Billboard’s Top Country Artist award and three Grammy nominations. In addition to his critical success, Montgomery strives to tell stories that connect and resonate with his audience. In 2004, he released the hit track, “Letters From Home,” which went on to become one of the most beloved tributes to soldiers and their families. In 2008, Montgomery founded his own label, Stringtown Records. That same year, he released his latest album, “Time Flies,” which spawned singles, “Mad Cowboy Disease,” “If You Ever Went Away,” and “Forever.”
